Dear Friends,

Forty Seven Days later...

on October 31, 1913
America Celebrated...

like never before...

as Council Bluffs...

kicked off the festivities
at 12:01 am with a torchlight parade
and bonfire.

Later that night...

towns and cities...

all across America...

lit bonfires...

and held torchlight parades...

to celebrate the occasion.

For a complete listing of towns,
and how they celebrated...

Be sure and check out what
your ancestors did...

and don't get caught
in a
"Rip Van Winke Nap"
without an alarm clock!!!

Warmest Regards,
